What would Q do?
The way things are going is the way things are going to keep on going for some time. The question is, will you be able to let go of the way things were before? Letting go is different than just giving up. Letting go is allowing for what is happening to happen. What else are you going to do? I know, fight.
There is a war going on for the soul of our human family. We call it a culture war.
This just in. Every war is a culture war. Every conflict between human beings has its genesis in the heart of the individual who is not willing to be defined by someone else’s idea of who they are. Our humanity gives us a sense of responsibility for contributing to the liberty and justice of all. We fight the good fight when our humanity is threatened.
We fight when we are unwilling to live by rules and judgments that threaten our autonomy and interfere with fundamental human rights and responsibilities. Our way of life. Our culture. Our language. Our identity.
You can say we fight wars for oil or money or power but that is really superficial. Sure, there’s always somebody benefiting from war. However, the rich are getting richer as a byproduct of our idiocy. That is not a very interesting story, because it depends on our inaction and pretends to be the real story. It serves as a substitute for the only thing there is to do.
If you are obsessed with Q or the Illuminati or any of the conspiracy theories we come up with to explain “what’s really going on” throughout history, chances are you are distracting yourself from the fight to be responsible for your humanity.
Notice what you are allowing to happen. Are you fighting for humanity, or are you a spectator who thinks there is nothing you can do but cheer for your team?
Recognize that you can fail doing the right thing the wrong way. My children’s mother taught me that there is no such thing as perfect action when it comes to doing what you know in your heart is the right thing. She would say, “They can’t take away your birthday.”
Respond by going back to your original moment. Let go of the way things were before, but keep who you have always been. See the best in others even when they see the worst in you. Fight for that.
